Oslo-listed mobile solutions company Link Mobility said it acquired SMS Italia (SMS.it), a mobile messaging provider that Emanuele Preda founded (see here a previous post by BeBeez). SMS.it belonged to AP2Ventures, an asset of Horizons Ventures, which is an investment vehicle of Asian investor Li Ka-Shing. will give to Vendors will reinvest in SMS.it through the acquisition of Link Mobility shares at a price of 144.8 Norwegian Krowns each totally worth one-third of the target’s acquisition price. The enterprise value of the transaction is of 10.371 million of euros, or 6.9 times the company’s adjusted ebitda that last year was of 1.503 million, while sales were of 10.8 million.
Artemest, the Italian e-commerce platform for handmade luxury design items, raised 4 million of euros from a group of international investors (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company attracted capitals from Nuo Capital, the investment holding of Hong Kong’s Pao-Cheng family Hong Kong that appointed Tommaso Paoli as ceo, Italian Angels for Growth, which in 2015 invested 1 million of euros in the asset, and Swiss firm Bagheera. Chief executive officer Marco Credendino and Ippolita Rostagno, chief creative director, founded in 2015 Artemest. The company aims to support for marketing, logistics and CRM artisans, designers, and SMEs operating in the traditional Made in Italy sectors.
