Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019 opened its doors on Tuesday, September 17. Until September 23, the calendar includes 58 fashion shows, 110 presentations, 4 presentations by appointment and 51 events, for a total of 170 collections of women's fashion. Fashion is an important sector not only for Milan, but for the entire national economy. Private equity investors also noticed that this year alone they closed 23 transactions in this sector, while venture capital funds financed rounds of four companies.
